WHAT??!! You have not done your Christmas shopping yet??! Don’t worry, I haven’t either and I have your back!
I have 7 great gift ideas for the fitness enthusiast in your family.
1. Iron Gym Pull Up Bar: $31
Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar – BUY NOW
If you train at home, you must have a pull up bar! Here is a simple and durable pull up bar. I have been using this exact one for a few years and it easily supports 215+ lb body weight.
2. Super bands: $25
Super bands are super awesome! At Train P3 we use them for assisting or resisting exercises. We integrate them in warm ups, pulling exercises, adding resistance to push ups, assisting pull ups, over head squats and so much more. I always bring the 1/2” and 1” black bands when I travel. I also like 1/2” orange or red bands for rotator cuff work.
3. Buddy Lee’s Jump rope: $45
Another excellent tool to add to a travel bag or a fitness toolbox is a quality jump rope. Some of my favorite reasons to jump rope are to challenge mental concentration and patience, strengthening ankles and knees, increasing agility and teaching body awareness and control. Buddy Lee’s jump rope is the best one out there. He has a few different types and they are all excellent. The cheaper ones are just as good, but I like this one since it has smaller handles and is easier to travel with.
4. Trigger Point Foam Roller: $23 – $61
Trigger Point Performance Grid 2.0 Revolutionary EVA Foam Roller (Black) – BUY NOW
Soft tissue work is essential for longevity of any athlete. We could all benefit from weekly massages, but unfortunately we don’t all have that luxury. The next best thing is using foam roller and different size balls to work out all knots and gunk (yes thats the technical term we use :). While you are at it, get some lacrosse balls, tennis balls, softballs and golf balls. Make sure to put it in a cute sack so your athlete can bring their balls with them 😛
5. How to Eat Move and Be Healthy: $21
